AOC Cables

Siemon Active Optical Cable (AOC) assemblies are a highly dependable and cost-effective alternative to transceiver assemblies with lengths ranging from 0.5 to 100 metres, which are beyond the range of Direct Attach Copper Cables (DAC). AOCs, like DACs, are factory terminated and enable a simple, high-performance direct connection between equipment.

Supplied in SFP+, SFP28, QSFP+, and QSFP28 form factors for 10 to 100 Gb/s Ethernet applications, as well as hybrid breakout assemblies for cost-effective 4 x 25 Gb/s and 4 x 10 Gb/s Ethernet deployments. AOCs can be used in ToR, End-of-Row (EoR), and Middle-of-Row (MoR) topologies due to their larger distance capability.

These high-performance, low-power AOCs are Ethernet, InfiniBand, and MSA compliant, with a durable design that includes a high-strength pull tab latching system to prevent plug loss and enable more secure installations.
