The Fluke Networks FI-500 FiberInspector Micro is a compact fibre optic end-face inspection scope designed to simplify troubleshooting in singlemode and multimode fibre networks.

Dirty fibre end faces are the leading cause of fibre failures, so the FI-500 provides fast, clear visual inspection to help prevent insertion loss, back-reflection, and network issues before connections are made.

It is designed for high-density patch panels and low-light environments and features dual white LEDs to light up dark ports and crowded cabinets. Its small profile probe fits easily into tight spaces, making it ideal for data centres and wiring closets.

With one-button autofocus, it delivers a sharp image in under two seconds. The probe offers 200x magnification with 1x, 2x, and 4x zoom settings, a 5-megapixel CMOS sensor, and 1 µm resolution for detailed viewing of fibre end faces. The FI-500 supports a range of interchangeable UPC and optional APC tips for common connector types including SC, LC, and 1.25 mm and 2.5 mm connectors.
