The Networks Centre Round Port Heat Shrink Kit provides a secure seal for round cable entry ports on fibre optic splice closures. It seals individual fibre cables entering the closure, against environmental factors like moisture, dust, and temperature fluctuations.

The kit is installed around a cable passing through a round entry port of a splice closure. When heat is applied, the heat-shrink sleeve contracts around the cable and the port opening, forming a strong protective seal. The adhesive layer melts during the heating process, bonding to the cable jacket and closure base to create a durable and moisture-resistant barrier.
